Not available yet

Trial code delivery by email is still being built, so there is nothing to sign up for on this page today. We would rather leave a form off the page than collect addresses we cannot send to yet. In the meantime, licenses start at From €34.95 once for one device, with tiers up to 8 devices.

How the trial will work

Three steps, no account, no card.

Enter your email

One field on this page. No password to choose, because JesRecap has no accounts — the email address is only there to send the code to.

Get a trial code

A code arrives by email. You paste it into the app the same way you would paste a license key.

Use everything for 48 hours

The full app for two days: dual-track capture, on-device transcription, speaker labels, meeting actions and every export format. When the window closes your recordings are still on your disk, because they were never anywhere else.

What the trial includes

Everything. A trial that hides the interesting parts tells you nothing about whether the app works for you.

Both capture tracks

Your microphone and the meeting audio recorded separately, then mixed into a playback track — Core Audio process taps on macOS, WASAPI loopback on Windows.

Local transcription

Whisper-family models running on your own machine, downloaded once from models.jesrecap.com. Live transcript optional.

Speaker labels

The local diarization model and its one-time 54 MB download, separating you from the other voices after recording.

Meeting actions

Summary, action items or your own prompt — generated on your device with the optional AI notes setting, or copied with the transcript included for whichever AI you already use.

Every export format

Markdown, plain text, JSON archive, SRT and VTT captions, and the WAV audio in all three variants.

Your recordings, kept

Meetings recorded during the trial stay in your local library and on your disk afterwards. Nothing is held hostage, because nothing was uploaded.

Why there is no permanently free tier

Free tiers get paid for somehow. In cloud meeting tools that usually means the free users' recordings and transcripts help pay for the platform — as training material, as an upsell funnel, or as data with commercial value of its own. JesRecap has none of those levers, on purpose: your audio never reaches us, so there is nothing for us to monetise and nothing to subsidise a free tier with. What is left is a straight trade. You get 48 hours to find out whether it fits your work, and if it does, you pay once — from €34.95 for one device — and the app is yours with no meter, no renewal and no account. We think that is the more honest arrangement, and it is the only one consistent with never having your meetings in the first place.

Until the trial opens

You can install the preview today. Buying a license is the only way to unlock it right now.

Stripe checkout, license key by email. Two devices for the same person. Billing questions go to support@jesrecap.com.

Trial questions

When does the trial open?

When email delivery is ready. We are not going to guess at a date on a page that is meant to be honest about the status.

Will the trial be limited in any way?

Only by time. All the features are in it — both capture tracks, local transcription, speaker labels, meeting actions and every export. The clock is 48 hours.

Will I need a credit card?

No. An email address for the code, and nothing else.

What happens to my recordings when the 48 hours end?

They stay on your disk, in your local meeting library, in the same folder they were written to. Nothing is deleted and nothing was ever uploaded, so buying a license later simply picks up where you left off.

Is the trial the same as the preview?

They are different things. "Preview" describes how finished the app is — see the releases page. The trial is how you get to run it without paying first.

Can I try it on two computers?

A purchased license covers the number of devices you pick — 1, 2, 4, or 8. How the trial handles a second machine is part of what is still being built.

Do you keep my email address afterwards?

The address is there to send a code to. There are no accounts in JesRecap, no telemetry in the app, and no cookies or tracking on this site.

Record locally, decide for yourself

The trial is coming. The app is already downloadable, and it never sends a word of your meetings anywhere.
